Alex, any day is a good day for me as long as Mom is feeling well. I can usually leave her alone for several hours. Could it be at Garryowen please if there is a gathering? I like the country salad and I haven't had a Guinness in weeks. And how the heck can I delete a duplicate post??? And never mind because you all don't talk to me anyway.

I would enjoy the gathering, but would have to be mid day, and I never know until the day before what my work schedule is, so schedule when you can, and I will try to make it.

I will come if it works out with my work schedule. Just to let you know though we pretty much solved all the problems of the world at our last gathering. You'll have to come up with some new issues...... Don't worry Lifesaver, I'm sure the Gettysburg Borough will have new pro lems for us to fix

You'll have to come up with some new issues...... Some suggestions: 1. What to do about Syria? 2. Will the Steelers get their act together in 2013? 3. Does Jim Paddock have a chance in hell and if so, 4. why? 5. If Paddock is elected, should everyone in Cumberland Twp. emigrate? 6. When Beanie leaves town, is there anyone who can fix shoes? >>>>>>>>>> According to this Evening Sun article, the answer to #6 is "no". Beanie's leaving town

Just to let you know though, the Beanie's issue has already been settled. If you want your shoes repaired apparently you will be able to ship them to his new location and they will be repaired and sent back to you. To be honest though, I wonder how many people get their shoes repaired anymore? I can remember my husband getting his work shoes repaired many years ago, but other than that I haven't seen the inside of Beanies in many years! I think it's kind of going the way of darning socks. Back in the times of the civil war it took hours to make one pair of socks, so if you got a hole in them you darned them (pain in the butt to do BTW). Now, some Gorilla glue will do the trick in most cases.

Gorilla Glue for socks!? Next thing, you'll be telling me to "just fix my finger with Super Glue!" That will be the end of Emergency Room visits for me Edit: By the way, when people mention Gorilla Glue, they need to clarify whether it is the "Quick-Setting-Cyanoacrylate" (Super Glue type) or the Ever-Expanding-Polyurethane type. I think the polyurethane would leave a big puffy lump in your sock. Also, Gorilla TAPE is hands-down the BEST Cloth Tape/Duct Tape available. It'll pull your fingerprints off... from an inch away! Talk about aggressive

I was talking about SHOES and the Gorilla glue But now that you mention it Mr. Smarty Pants when my husband worked construction he used Super Glue on those nasty finger cracks he would get every winter, so yes, you CAN use it to fix your fingers!

Alex, either one works well for me. Mom says bring her to her recliner and she will be happy - especially if NASCAR is on the TV.
For OO: 1. Forget about Syria. We don't need more trouble. 2. Steelers to the Super Bowl! 3. No, Paddock doesn't stand a chance in hell... 4. Because his reputation precedes him. 5. If Paddock is elected I'm moving to another state...or not. I don't know if my house will sell. 6. I wear Clarks and Birkenstocks and UGG slippers. What can't be Gorilla Glued (UGG slippers can be glued) gets tossed. I still have my first pair of Birks but the Clarks wear out after 5-6 years.

Can't make it after all Alex. Thank you so very much for choosing GO though. I am a huge fan of the food there. Oh, and Matt. His name for me is Trouble. I have no idea why.............
Enjoy all. I'll be riding to hell in my hand basket.
