I passed the library today about 4:00 pm and could swear that the new Lincoln statute was NOT there. Anybody know anything?

It was definitely taken down for some reason. I noticed it too but am not sure why.

you mean we have to read a non-Gettysburg paper to find out what is happening in Gettysburg? again? It's in today's Times. It seemed like news to me, since I no longer get the Sun. At least give them time to read about it in the Sun, so they know it's a story worth writing about It's all a matter of timing, if it happens during the Evening, the Sun will have it first. If it happens during the Morning, the Sun will have it first. If it happens between 11:00am and 11:13am, the Times will have it first!

Saw the Statue just in time, before they removed it - so I know it existed. Seems a little silly to bring it in when it gets windy, but it was evidently secure enough for little kids to possibly be hanging on it!? Makes you wonder
