I know this is a petty thing and maybe it doesn't bother anyone but me. This is the lighted tree at the Seminary that you see as you crest the hill on Buford Ave. Why didn't they put the lights the whole way around the tree instead of just the top half? Last year the tree was beautiful! I loved seeing it when I crested the hill to drive into town. This year it just looks like a half finished project! Surely the tree didn't grow that much in a year's time?

Maybe it's half-finished? Waiting for more lights? They started, and then it began to rain?

I know, you should maybe take a different route into town! Bypass the ugly tree, and the nasty smell !

No Venter, if you look at the tree you can tell that it's finished, and it has been that way for a week or more. I'm trying to tell myself that it's the thought that counts rather than the presentation. On a different note, this pic is making the rounds today. Taken at the Soldiers National Cemetery. One of the most beautiful pics I've ever seen! scontent-a-lga.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-frc3/1477744_674508262589003_95234692_n.jpg

I'm sure there is an open door for a totally tasteless joke about the tree being entered into the hospice program and only half alive now....but I can't think of it.
(from someone who has had relatives who have used hospice, and though I love tasteless jokes, I do appreciate what hospice has done for my relatives. I still want to see and make the tasteless jokes, though!)

"O' Hospice Tree, O' Hospice Tree... thank God they decorated ye... "
... or we'd never hear the end of it from Lifesaver

In the words of Uncle Si from Duck Dynasty, I'm "Happy, Happy, Happy"!

When you tell a fellow nurse you need help with a Code Brown it does not mean that someone brought chocolate
