This was in response to someone saying something about them organizing a group to go to H-burg for the next round... Susan Paddock Everyone, pro and con, can come and observe. We'll know soon the exact date and time of the Mason Dixon hearing. Let's watch LeVan tell how he plans to tear down 80 homes and make that housing development a parking lot between an outdoor amphitheatre and an indoor water park. And listen to all the witnesses who tell us they knew nothing about being witnesses! HUH? Anyone have any idea WTF she is babbling about? music amphitheater, water park? I know she is the pied piper of the nutjobs, but has she officially joined the ranks?

What I know about it...
Evidently a document with one of the options (BEFORE it was modified), was inadvertently included in the Mason-Dixon package. It showed an amphitheater and removal of housing. Like I said, that was BEFORE modifications.
Now, how that got into their proposal... who knows. Was it given to the PGCB, and they failed to replace it with the REVISED COPY? Was it accidentally left in the Portfolio by someone at Mason-Dixon?
As far as the "witnesses"... Again, evidently the names of Moul and Troxell are on the list to speak FOR the Casino (which they should). They both claim to know nothing about it. Again, miscommunication or fuck-up?
Either way, NCG will make mountains out of moles on their asses. Can you imagine sitting in on their meetings? Talk about your circle-jerks!

But these plans were apparently submitted on October 20th with the "errors" in them, not months ago. Both the replacement of Devonshire and the listings of Mr Moul and Mr Troxell as speakers.
Irregardless of whenever they were submitted, don't you think someone would be sure that whatever they sent to the PGCB would be up do date and accurate? They've had long enough.
Its not a matter of making mountains out of the moles on our asses. Its pointing out what was given to the PGCB and posted on their web site for public consumption as well as the board.
Not exactly paying attention to details, especially in an important submission.

Irregardless is a double negative and a nonstandard word. Regardless works as well.
No Casino Gasbags also had time to review their petitions and ensure that they had a semblence of completion to them. NCG wasn't exactly paying attention to details either. Then again, why be honest when falsehoods serve them so well?

Then again, why be honest when falsehoods serve them so well? yeah, NCG had plenty of time to bring honesty into the fight by not forging signatures, submitting partial petitions and lying to tourists, but they haven't started that yet. If a casino is so wrong, and the no argument is so high an mighty and right, there should be no need to resort to lies, distortions, intimidation and recruiting of outsiders. If it is was so right, an idiot would be able to see it. But it seems only idiots think it's wrong.

I agree with your sentiment that if you choose to argue against a casino on moral grounds, then you should go out of your way to above reproach in the way you wage your fight. I am appalled at the way some of the 'No's" have carried themselves, and the arguments they have used in this issue.

Why didn't NCG?

Ok Regardless, irregardless, whatever - the point here is that the plans submitted showed Devonshire gone and listed Mr. Moul and Mr. Troxell as intended speakers (incorrectly according to them) .
NCG did not make that up - it was done by the Mason Dixon people. Their screw up - not ours.
If thats not the case, are there not Vicksburg people listed that they are planning to have at their presentation going to be there as well, like the last time?

What part of public opinion closed as of Nov. 1 do you not understand? What part of PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED testimony that can be brought up at the suitability hearing don't you understand? In other words, " I present to you Exhibit A, testimony by Rep. Dan Moul which says..............." Do you think the public hearing was just a big circle jerk where everybody said their piece and went home?

so what they submitted the wrong the wrong plans what does that matter to NCG?
As far as the listed speakers there were to be no speakers and you know that they listed they as speakers because from what I understand they were submitting statements they had given previously. Again why is this a big deal to you or NCG

If thats not the case, are there not Vicksburg people listed that they are planning to have at their presentation going to be there as well, like the last time? If I recall correctly, and I believe that I do, the gaming board was quoted in the newspaper as saying that ANY potential speakers name MUST be listed although there were no plans for anyone but the casino representatives to speak. If I didn't recycle my newspapers I go through every single one until I found that article. Mason Dixon was obligated to have Troxell and Moul listed in case the gaming board had questions because if names are not on the list no one can speak.*** And if anyone has newspapers going back the past month or so, I'll sit down with them and search for that statement. *** By the way, I believe that means that we don't have to relive the NCG cheers and applause we endured at the hearing - you know - the ones for their people. When the pros applauded a veteran we were told to keep it down. And when Rich Kitner spoke and veterans stood out of respect there were mumblings from the NCG crowd.

Excuse me, but as so many NCG people like to point out, some of us Pros are stupid. I'm not as stupid as I lead people to believe.
