[glow=red,2,300][/glow] I just heard that my friend on Blacks Schoolhouse Road has a big hole in the sdie of her house where a stray hunters bullet came through and played around the bedroom. 11/2710 will be a day we never forget that much is certain. Evidently the bullet hit a tree which sent it into her house. It's first destination was her pillow on her bed . Soooooooooooooooo we are grateful that she was up! Instead of simply cleaning up all the mess in the room and on the bed and tending to a vintage Victrola that was in perfect working order and now has a war wound we could be dealing with bits of her head scattered all around the room, smeared on the walls, etc. This stuff is Twilight Zone scary. Of course the Police were called and with the bullet in hand they will probably easily find WHO was hunting and make sure it came from that gun. Let me state none of us are against hunting! Keeping the deer population down feeds the people and frankly helps keep the roads a bit safer. We have all been hit by deer in our vehicles and all suffered major damage from it. However... this is a shocker. We just lost a friend we loved like a brother to cancer . It is possible he could be known here Bryan Koch was a well respected farrier in the area. And now wow this happens. The old BBS allowed free specking so I say with the hope this one still does... Holy Fucking Shit! I am just amazed and grateful the bullet just attacked things, but it has been one hell of a morning.[glow=red,2,300][/glow]

The not so funny part about this is that deer season does not start until Monday so this was someone out making sure everything was in working order. I'm not against hunting either but this is one of the biggest reasons why I will no longer hunt in Pa unless I'm on posted land and one of only a couple of people on the property. I know some people that should not be allowed to handle a gun let alone to be out there in the dark on the first day or any day for that matter.

We are in Fairfield and there are fields surrounding all the houses on our road and lots of people in those fields with guns...worrisome time of the year that's for sure!!
I always think when I hear them...they are too close to our houses...we just have to pray they have enough sense not to point in our direction!
