All along we've been told this is not about gambling, it's about preservation. Problem is that NCG has not yet, and never will, actually work towards preserving anything. When pressed on the issue of NCG being a preservation or anti gambling group Susan has owned up to the whole preservation angle being bullshit admitting that they are not a preservation group on multiple occasions.
I know I'm preaching to the choir here but I think we can finally put the whole "this isn't about being anti gambling" line of bullshit from NCG to sleep. First they welcome back Bill Kearney with open arms and if you've ever read topix you know this is %100 about gambling for him. Go on over to Facebook and look over the posts at NCG. The top two posts from Susan are celebrating Foxwoods losing its casino license in PHILADELPHIA. Then comes Dani's post about the PGCB violating the sunshine act. A couple posts down are some posts from Rae Egglestone. The first is an anti gambling video link "The Sell-Out: How MASSACHUSETTS Plans to Create New Addicts To Pay For Struggling State Programs". The next 3 posts are from an anti gambling BBC video about LAS VEGAS. The there's another post from Susan about Foxwoods (she's really upset about this Philly casino license too it seems). Then comes the Bill Kearney post about a nun who stole money to gamble. It goes on and on. You'd be very hard pressed to find a mention of the battlefield or Gettysburg anywhere on their page right now. It's all anti gambling, all the time now. It's not even a debatable point anymore what the root cause of NCG is. It's to stop GAMBLING, not to preserve anything in or around Gettysburg.
