PENNSYLVANIA FALL HARVEST BENEFIT - NOVEMBER 4, 2011 5:00pm AT THE GETTYSBURG FIRE HALL SCCAP's Food Development Program is sponsoring a Benefit Dinner to raise funds for struggling SCCAP programs. The benefit is being held at the Gettysburg Fire Hall on Friday, November 4th a 5:00pm The theme of the menu, Pennsylvania Fall Harvest, will be prepared by the Food Service Development class taught by Chef Jeremy Schaffner. Chef Amanda Louey, formerly the Pastry Chef and owner of Seasons Bakery will be preparing desserts including white chocolate pumpkin cheesecake. The banquet is being sponsored by Wayne Nells’ and Sons of East Berlin, who will be donating locally raised pork. To date, SCCAP has been forced to close 5 programs and lay off more than 20 staff – these are difficult times. And we are still hearing of more cuts to come at the federal level. Now more than ever before, we appreciate the support of the community and the innovative, creative ideas that can be generated by people like you as we work together to keep our communities and families strong and vibrant. Your support will help ensure that other important programs are able to remain open, important programs such as the Homeless Shelter, Food Pantries and the Food Development Program. Tickets are being sold for $50.00 per person or $250.00 for a table of six and can be purchased using Paypal below or at SCCAP's front desk. Come out and join us for a taste of Pennsylvania’s Fall Harvest and support important Adams County Programs. Attachments:

You and your group should be commended for this effort Jeremy. SCAPP does a lot of good work in our community, a very worthy enterprise. And I'll bet the food will be killer!!
