So I watched the Legacy video with Matthew Broderick for the umpteenth time today. I can't believe that after 1000 times viewing it, it took me till now to notice this one shot. Unfortunately, for you, if you want to view it to see what I am talking about, you'd have to watch the whole thing. But at the end, around the time they do the ever-so-clever "have everybody say the same line and tie them together with quick edits" device, they show the Warren Statute on LRT in silhouette. Then, from out of the frame, a kid pops in and stands next to the statue... i think he gooses Warren, too. I found this interesting because I just sat through 8 or so minutes of nit wits and David McCullough telling me about respecting the battlefield. Why is this so interesting? Because there's a sign on the boulder that Warren stands on telling visitors to STAY THE f~(< OFF THE BOULDER!
But, I guess when you're the CWPT/NCG powerhouse, you can defy the National Park Service. I've seen tourists get yelled at by guides numerous times for such things. I guess if you go at dusk and have a camera, you don't need to follow posted rules and regulations.
I pointed it out in a comment on the vid. I bet it will be removed. So here it is.
Here's the video

Matt,
I noticed that the very first time I watched the video! I thought that I must have imagined it because there is no way those NCG folks would tell that little red headed boy to jump on up there with the General! I am sure that they would say it is was worth it for the cause!!!
I am hyper-sensitive to that because we once hired a guide for a office picnic at the house and when we got over there he repremanded someone for being disrepectful having a kid up there for photos or something...
Oh well, once again, the rules are there for everyone EXCEPT them...

Matt,
I'm anticipating your time travel video circa 2015 depicting Violent Quark and the Manly Blueberry crying about all the havoc the casino has brought.... with said havoc obviously already being in place at present time.

I am wondering if Star got written permission to use the park to make that video because the first time somebody donates money to her cause than she made money off the park , and thats worse than any casino .

I'm sure we can call thePark Service and ask to see the permit they were issued.
