It's St. Patrick's Day So I decided to eat anything that's green from our fridge today. The fuzzy little Green "Florets" on the cottage cheese were probably a dead giveaway that I should have stopped there. The Green "Sheen" on the slabs of ham don't look too promising either And I don't recall putting any food coloring in the Milk. Hmmm... Probably not the best idea I've ever had... but it may be my last! ;D

For someone who's been married a while, you haven't learned too many of the rules yet.

I guess a nice GREEN salad was out of the question? I'll have to Google "salad". Looks like a made up word.

I agree on the salad, Venter. As a former Produce Clerk, I can vouch for the multitudes of noxious chemicals, adhering to most "fresh" greens. Just the very thought of all those bug-killers steers me deftly away from anything green from our soils. Now, red meat, such as Adams County Guernsey and Hanover Holsteins, I find most appealing. Make mine medium-rare with a baked tater all the way and a healthy vitamin laden pitcher of fresh Margaritas...oh, and yes, salt the rim: my doc says my "electriclights are just fine"!

Oh, and on Saint Patty's Day: It came to mind that those nasty Catholics have once again ignored the fine experience and devotion of the pious and righteous Fras: O' Malleys, O'Briens, Sullivans, Kennedys and O'Haras conclaves of Cardinals, Bishops and Bluejays, in the Free Agent bidding for Most Holy Pope, this year. Once again a multi-lingual was nominated, seconded and booked as the new Vatican Grand Poobah. Well, I for one, who has never been to Christmas Eve Mass, feel the Irish have been omitted again in favor of a South American soccer playing, bible carrying Goalie! Oh, well...maybe, next year....

Multi-lingual??? He speaks Spanish. Italian and Latin are job requirements so they don't count. Now if they had gone with Dolan or O'Malley...can you imagine the time to be had at O'Rorke's or GO?
