Due to circumstances I find myself with a Rollator (a walker with 4 wheels, brakes, a storage basket and a seat for the user which has been used one time only. It is red in color and it is for sale for $60.00, much less than I paid for it.
I also have a transport chair. It is similar to a wheelchair but of a lighter weight. It has been used twice. I would like to sell it for $75.00.
I bought equipment which I thought would be necessary but I find that I'm going to need a hospital bed instead. At a later date I will have a wheel chair as well as a Rollator which converts by moving the back rest position to make either a Rollator or a transport chair.
Things happen in life which are sometimes unexpected. We roll with the changes and hope for the best. If anyone has any suggestions about a better place to advertise these items all suggestions will be appreciated.
Thank you.

I sold the items for $100.00 to a man who will re-sell them for a profit. I needed the cash fast. Too bad the price of gold dropped because the gold jewelry is next. I don't wear it anyway since I retired.
Since my mother has come off hospice (they wouldn't provide physical therapy) and switched to home care (who say they'll provide physical therapy but haven't yet) I've been advised that the hospital bed, high back wheelchair and the oxygen machine will not be provided by hospice...soon. Perhaps they'll allow the equipment to remain and I'll pay the 20% co-pay to keep it.
It's damned hard to keep a person alive in this country. She's alert, lucid, feeling better physically, eating well and strongly desiring to go outside. Sadly, I can't lift her to put her into the wheelchair and take her out for some fresh air.
Fortunately, I did watch some of the physical therapy she had while she was in rehab so we might get lucky and get her walking a few steps again.
I must say - I have a great deal of respect and admiration for caretakers whether they are nurses, LPNs, CNAs, aides, etc. I don't know how they do this job day in and day out. I'm burning out and it's only been 11 days since Mom returned home after being away since the end of January.
